Made from 100% cotton, our plain muslin fabric is a staple material for any sewer. This versatile muslin cloth features an open weave, giving it a sheer appearance and lightweight feel. Muslin fabric is one of the most versatile fabrics available and can be used for everything from dress making to cooking, with some similarities in handling to lightweight cotton crepe fabric when used for testing drape.

Most commonly, muslin’s simple and lightweight structure is used for draping and pattern testing garments, making it an essential tool during the early stages of design.

Quite often used as a form of cheesecloth when processing food.

It is important to note that slight irregularities in the weave are common and characteristic of muslin fabric. These irregularities should not be treated as faults.

Monday-Thursday delivery will be made the next day, only on orders received before 1.30pm DEADLINE. 

Kindly note, there is NO WEEKEND DELIVERY.

Orders placed Thursday after 1.30pm and Friday before 1.30pm, will be despatched on Friday and will be delivered Monday. 

Orders placed Friday after 1.30pm , and all weekend orders will be processed on Monday and received on Tuesday.
