How can sell at such low prices?

At we sell at extremely competitive prices as we are a dedicated internet superstore and hence cut out the more traditional costs associated with retail outlets such as high street rents, rates, high labour rates, etc.

Direct purchasing and intense bulk buying enable us to pass these savings on to you, the customer!!  

I represent a school and would like to know if i can pay by invoice? does supply many schools and our normal procedure is to request institutions to place orders direct on the website and select cheque as the preferred payment in the checkout procedure. We will only send the order direct to the school once we have received confirmation from the bursar/head/secretary after the order has been placed.

What type of products do you supply? provide you with a massive selection of fabrics available by the metre and also a comprehensive range of trimmings, haberdashery, beads and other craft items. Unlike many of our peers we have a very large holding of stock and are in an excellent position to fulfill your orders with immediate delivery.

What about items not available on the site?

How do I pay for my order?

•  We accept all major credit cards and debit cards.   We use SHOPIFY as our payment service provider who uses industry standard socket layer technology (SSL) to encrypt all your personal information including debit and credit card number, name and address.   

•  We also accept personal or company cheques, banker‘s drafts, postal orders. Please note that goods will only be dispatched upon receipt of cleared funds.   Cheques may well take up to 10 days to clear.

How quickly will my order be delivered?

All goods are normally dispatched upon receipt of cleared funds subject to stock availability.   If we are out of stock you will be notified at the earliest opportunity. Please see our delivery schedule for delivery services that are currently available.

Do you deliver outside the UK?

Yes we deliver globally.   Please be aware that there may well be duties and/or other taxes levied upon the importation of your order.   This charge will be the sole responsibility of the buyer.

Do you send out sample swatches?

We offer a complete sample service of all the fabrics available on   To enable us to offer you the best possible service and to help us keep our prices low, we make a nominal charge of £0.99 for each swatch. The average size for each swatch is approx 14cm x 20cm.


Can I return the products I ordered?

All non-fabric goods may be returned for a refund as long as it is in a new condition and packaging unopened. However, fabrics that are ordered and cut to your specification cannot be returned. What happens if i cannot buy the quantity i require?

 Although our inventories are considerable, it is not possible to hold endless supplies of all the items available on our store. If you receive a message stating your desired quantity is not in stock, we recommend that you continue with your purchase as it is normally possible to fulfil most orders. If for any reason we are unable to complete the order, we will issue you with a refund.

I have not received a response to my email?

In the event you have not received an email response, please check your spam/junk folders as you may have your filter settings set too high. We do our very best to communicate with our customer base as quickly as possible, but busy periods or public holidays may result in a slight delay. Note, the office is closed at weekends, any emails will be picked up on the Monday morning. 

Is there a minimum order value?

There is no minimum order value EXCEPT when paying via Cheque or Postal / Money Order the minimum order value is £4.95. Orders for less than this amount will not be processed if your selected method of payment is "Cheque / Money Order".


All parcels that are sent using Royal Mail UK Standard service can only be tracked once there has been an attempted delivery. Unfortunately that is how Royal Mail works and it is beyond our control to provide any further tracking. 


Please remember that we are closed on weekends, any standard UK delivery orders placed on Friday, Saturday & Sunday will be despatched on the Monday, either using Royal Mail or Parcelforce. 

Why haven't I received my Next Day order yet?

Useful information to consider

- orders placed before 1.30pm Monday - Thursday will be processed an despatched on the same day via Parcelforce 24hr service.

- orders placed  AFTER 1.30pm Monday - Thursday will be processed and despatched on the next day using Parcelforce 24hr service. 

-Any next day orders placed during the weekend will be processed and despatched on the Monday via Parcelforce 24hr service, and delivered on the Tuesday.

ROYAL MAIL & PARCELFORCE STRIKES Kindly note that standard UK delivery guidelines is 3-5 working days, but due to the industrial action of Royal Mail & Parcelforce CWU members taking national strike action on certain dates, this is likely to cause some delay. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause, but this situation is completely beyond our control. We cannot take responsibility of a delayed order due to the  disruption caused by the strike action.
