Cheapfabrics.co.uk does supply many schools and our normal procedure is to request institutions to place orders direct on the website and select cheque as the preferred payment in the checkout procedure. We will only send the order direct to the school once we have received confirmation from the bursar/head/secretary after the order has been placed.

Unlike many of our peers we have a very large holding of stock and are in an excellent position to fulfil your orders with immediate delivery.

Yes we deliver globally. Please be aware that there may well be duties and/or other taxes levied upon the importation of your order. This charge will be the sole responsibility of the buyer.
We offer a complete sample service of all the fabrics available on cheapfabrics.co.uk. To enable us to offer you the best possible service and to help us keep our prices low, we make a nominal charge of £0.99 for each swatch. The average size for each swatch is approx 14cm x 20cm.
Can I return the products I ordered?
All non-fabric goods may be returned for a refund as long as it is in a new condition and packaging unopened. However, fabrics that are ordered and cut to your specification cannot be returned. We strongly recommend ordering samples to ensure you are satisfied with the colour and quality before purchasing, especially if you have no scope for allowance. This does not affect your statutory rights. For further information, please click here for returns policy. We cannot currently cancel or change orders ONCE DESPATCHED for UK or international customers.
Although our inventories are considerable, it is not possible to hold endless supplies of all the items available on our store. If you receive a message stating your desired quantity is not in stock, we recommend that you continue with your purchase as it is normally possible to fulfil most orders. If for any reason we are unable to complete the order, we will issue you with a refund.
In the event you have not received an email response, please check your spam/junk folders as you may have your filter settings set too high. We do our very best to communicate with our customer base as quickly as possible, but busy periods or public holidays may result in a slight delay. Note, the office is closed at weekends, any emails will be picked up on the Monday morning.
There is no minimum order value EXCEPT when paying via Cheque or Postal / Money Order the minimum order value is £4.95. Orders for less than this amount will not be processed if your selected method of payment is "Cheque / Money Order".
Why is my order not trackable?
All parcels that are sent using Royal Mail UK Standard service can only be tracked once there has been an attempted delivery. Unfortunately that is how Royal Mail works and it is beyond our control to provide any further tracking.
I have not received my order!
Please note that we are closed on weekends. Any standard UK delivery orders placed on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday will be dispatched on Monday using either Royal Mail or Parcelforce. Occasionally, delivery companies may experience slight delays, particularly during busy seasonal periods, which are unfortunately beyond our control. However, we are always here to support you and will ensure you receive your order, as we would never leave our customers out of pocket.
Why haven't I received my Next Day order yet?
Useful information to consider
- orders placed before 1.30pm Monday - Thursday will be processed an despatched on the same day via Parcelforce 24hr service.
- orders placed AFTER 1.30pm Monday - Thursday will be processed and despatched on the next day using Parcelforce 24hr service.
-Any next day orders placed during the weekend will be processed and despatched on the Monday via Parcelforce 24hr service, and delivered on the Tuesday.
Can I collect my order from you?
Unfortunately, we operate solely as an online business and do not have a facility for order collection.
