What is organza?

Organza is a plain weave fabric made from silk. Lightweight and sheer, its transparency makes it an ideal fabric to use in layering. Whilst it’s a thin fabric, it’s also quite stiff and holds its structure well. For clothes, this means the material is great for adding silhouette and a draping effect to an outfit. Its soft sheen makes it’s a common choice for bridal gowns too.
