Plain Cotton Organdie

Perfect!

Fabric was just what I wanted and a good price. The rest of my sewing group have now ordered some.

I could not believe the quality of this 100% cotton organdie for the price - it is wonderful. A few slubs but overall absolutely excellent!

Good quality that dyes well. Ideal for Bojagi and at a reasonable price. Very pleased with my first order so got some more.

The quality is good but the texture is very papery, which was not altered by washing/ironing, it’s also quite narrow.

Lovely fabric

I wanted a semi transparent fabric suitable for stitch drawing. Plain cotton organdie is a new fabric to me and I’m delighted. It is perfect. It would be good to be able to show you an image. I’m experimenting with drawing, painting and sewing with it. It is extremely strong with a natural stiffness, a little like it’s been starched, but it doesn’t lose that attribute. After my first order, I ordered another 10 metres. I can foresee it being useful for so many things. Draw, trace and image. Drop your feed dogs and attach your free motion foot. Follow the lines you have drawn. It is so liberating and unique. Thank you Cheap (quality) Fabrics
