Dupion Silk

While often recognised as an uneven and irregularly woven silk, this power woven silk offers a finer and more delicate appearance and texture in contrast to traditional hand-woven varieties. Silk Fabric Care Instructions:  for best results, we recommend dry-cleaning silk. If handwashing is attempted, test first and use cold water, mild detergent, and air-dry away from sunlight. It's advised to order a sample before purchasing as different types of silk may respond differently to cleaning methods. Note that we are not responsible for damage caused by handwashing or other cleaning methods, therefore test on a small sample area first.
